A huge congratulations to Rees Howell and crew, who travelled from Perth to Melbourne, to race against the East Coast's best sportsboat crews including the newly launched Audi Burwood Racing of Mr Ellis and the mighty green Monkey Business of Cam Rae.

Congratulations to Cam Rae and the mighty team of Monkey Business, winning the Vic State Champs 2013 in convincing style. Racing against a variety of boats, the MB was on fire, pushed on the first day by David Ellis' new ride The Stig Audi Burwood Racing (right up until a sail tear).
As some might say, "turbo good sailing right up until the sail tear, which is not turbo at all." And by some, we mean 'Josh'. As a warm up to the Nationals being held in Victoria's Port Philip Bay, this was the Shaw 650 guys' last chance to warm up, and warm up they did....pictures courtesy of Teri Dodds, Photographer extraordinaire (find all her great work available for purchase at www.teridodds.com) show just how quick these boats can go in a bit of puff.
