Santa Cruz – home to some world famous surfing, sailing, adventure ‘dudes’ plus some pretty decent snowboards back in the day.

Well now, Santa Cruz is getting on the Shaw 650 ride, as 2 industry guys have started construction on their very own woody Shaw – they are pretty passionate and have all the skills so we expect to see a work of art emerging pretty soon

Check their progress out; they’ve got a great website with a good blog; in future I would guess this will be THE SITE to understand the steps involved in building a Shaw yourself.

Designs are available at a reasonable price, build times will vary depending on experience.  And of course, shaw650.com is here to support with the parts – rigs, suppliers, sails – we aren’t some monopolist that insists you have to buy from us; the more Shaws out there, the better.
